Does anyone else take an intro to Psychology class this summer?1cierra2012-11-04 21:51:02
I 'm in school this summer and I am taking this class that I thought was going to be difficult, but I've discovered to be one of the most useful classes never take . I 'm on the road toward a degree in early childhood education , but sometimes I think I should persue a degree in child psychology . Has anyone ever had a similar experience ?
Psychology Class IS the Stupidest Class On Earth?0Jiggle Shopper 2012-10-20 12:20:18
Or is that kind of philosophy . Appearance : ! Want to learn something in school does not just sit and listen SPOUTINGS RANDOM MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Anyway, I know this: MedlinePlus MedlinePlus My kind of psychology is a mental disorder . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus If you can not say , I can not stand the class. It's a waste of taxpayer money (grants / low interest student loans , etc. . ) MedlinePlus MedlinePlus You learn anything in this class . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I can not stand it and have no respect for the teacher . Psychology is retarded. It's stupid . Psychologists are people who pretend to know something you do not and people who believe / listen and think they are learning something delusional and need to come to realize what is real knowledge and are not benefiting from any way - but only wasting your time - or worse - much worse MedlinePlus . MedlinePlus Psychology is stupid . Psychology is a waste of time . You learn nothing in a psychology class , does not make you more productive in society , but just gives you more debt . No = more productive and richer. A productive society is one where real knowledge is valued and learned , not pretending to be false random thoughts worth something . Useless knowledge as social psychology leads to poverty , in more ways than one . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Psychology is ridiculous and outrageous that someone might have to take this class to get a degree or even everyone takes this class as part of any curriculum .
What do you think? Should I drop the class and get W or C in Anatomy&Physiology class?0 집합 가변명사 2012-10-20 22:56:41
I have 18 year old male going to a second year at community college and take Chemistry 1 with a lab , anatomy and physiology with a lab , Algebra , Psychology ( Human Growth and Development ) , and the kind of justice criminal . All my classes now doing well , but in the Anatomy and Physiology class I got a very bad note . In my first review that I have another 70 to 48 years that I have , but my hand is fine laboratory . I talked to a teacher and said that the inclusion of lab and lecture my grade is 73. He said that in order to get at least one BI need to get at least 80-85 in all my other tests . I think a big risk. What should I do ? I can still drop it and get a W or get a C , D or B. What looks better W or C on the transcript , if you want to go to medical school , graduate schools , and so on. ? Thank you.

Will having failed one class seriously affect admittance into clinical psychology PhD program?0Needhelp5002012-11-04 11:28:10
I'm an undergraduate student double majoring in psychology and criminology. I just failed chemistry. I was previously majoring in psychology with a premedical focus (the only reason I even took chemistry) before realizing that I would much rather work as a criminal psychologist as opposed to a psychiatrist. Aside from the chemistry class, the rest of my grades are decent (A's and B's, a few B-'s from first semester freshman year). If it weren't for this chemistry class, my GPA for this semester would have continued to follow the upward trend my GPA has been on so far. I still have two more years to go and plenty of time/classes to increase my GPA. However, I do not want to retake chemistry unless it is ABSOLUTELY necessary (I've been told that our chemistry department is still on probation for ridiculously low passing rates). The chemistry class was not required as part of my core nor for my major. Taking the failed class into consideration, I have a 2.93 for the semester and a 3.32 overall (without it I would've had a 3.6 and a 3.47. Will having failed this one class cripple my chances of acceptance into a clinical psychology PhD program?
