I want to become a probation officer . I have an interview on Wed. and I have a list of things I have to do .... name and number of neighbors past August , transcripts , three letters of reference . Is this good or this is standard procedure for all. The woman I meet Wed told me about carpooling with someone in my area because the academy is a long trip. I have 28 years of experience in banking and healthcare . Is a competitive field ? I know I have to be super ready on Wednesday . Thanks advnace .

The things we are asking for is the realization of an IT background . Is likely to tell everyone who comes to bring that interview . How many people are being interviewed for many positions , which is what I will tell you about their chances . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Ask about it in the interview .

Nothing is guaranteed until you sit down at the academy on the first day . So in each round of interviews as if this woman had not said anything . Be yourself , are looking for normal people with normal rational thinking ability . Play your experience if given the opportunity . It shows you have the head on his shoulders . That is the most important attribute , because they will teach others what they want you to know . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Good Luck . I interned with probation before I got my job LEO . It was always interesting and fun .

Sounds like standard procedure to me. I do some of the background investigations of applicants for police to our department. This is the information you requested. Then check if the information provided is correct . ? I can talk to neighbors to find out what kind of person is the applicant. I actually contact the references and get in touch with the schools , including the high school principal . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus If the job of probation officer is your goal, then you carry grades should be appropriate. The probation officers I know do not get paid much, but that's life. Most of them seem to enjoy their work . As to be competitive , I think it's more that the work of the police officer . If you have not checked , the police generally have many more applicants than available positions .

What ever may be the job they just need some background investigation before confirming the post. And it's mandatory to both private or govt sectors as per researchpapermama service news. For more info i suggest to get expert advice on career or job.
