Include your degree / major , why they selected , and how this degree / major will help you achieve your goals . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus MedlinePlus One of my English teachers told me I had to be brief and to the point with my essay , but there is something I 'm not sure , do not feel you are ready . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Choosing a College Alamo was an easy decision , with the right mindset and proper preparation and habits on a daily basis , I can achieve my goal of getting my associate and move to a university to pursue a degree. I chose psychology as my major , for many reasons , one of the main reasons is that I love learning how the human mind works . I love knowing that most of the things we try in life if we are successful or not fixed within our own minds . I know through the psychology that I can learn more about my own personality mindset and how I teach something new every day . We control our own destiny , which links to my goal of just being happy. I want to be happy when I look back on my life and be happy for me is to eventually become somebody and be proud of myself .

It is short - too short. Only 155 words are used to respond to a complex task. It has about 95 words or phrases that could join several elaborate. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Divide the task into parts and make sure your response addresses each part: MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Describe your: MedlinePlus 1) the objectives of the educational career MedlinePlus 2) life goals. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Explain your plan to achieve: MedlinePlus 3) Educational Career goals MedlinePlus 4) goals in life. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Includes: MedlinePlus 5) degree / higher MedlinePlus 6) Why did you choose your degree / major
7) How this degree / major will help you achieve your goals. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Print a copy of your response essay and highlight or circle the response that addresses each of the seven parts of the task. Think you adequately address each of the parts? I think not. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Do you have excessive sentences that do not relate directly to one of the seven parties? For example, you say "... for many reasons, one of the main reasons is that ...." There are 10 words that are not really necessary. You can briefly say "I chose psychology mainly because I love learning how the human mind works." The word refers primarily to the fact that there are other reasons much more concise. If you want to talk about a second reason (good idea ...), now available words. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Reread aloud and pay attention to your punctuation. In general, short sentences are easier to read. Try to make it more readable to shorten the prayers. For example, the first sentence is a run-on sentence. There are (at least) two separate ideas that are trying to convey. There should be a period after "decision". MedlinePlus MedlinePlus It's a good start, but make sure you address all parts of the task, reading aloud, and a little more polish. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Good luck, MedlinePlus Joe MedlinePlus . . .
