Can anyone tell me terrible things about being an officer so you can feel better about this? The official recruiters I've talked to tell me right now waiting to go to OCS is at least two years if you are accepted . They also told me that there is only an acceptance rate of 20% for anyone without an engineering degree . I do not want to wait two years. I feel that I would have a better chance to go official once they 've been in the front trying civil . You can also take advantage of the program student loan repayment. Does anyone have thoughts on this? MedlinePlus MedlinePlus My Master's degree in Psychology is however , I am not licensed to practice something so join the medical staff is not an option at this time either. I have a 87 on the ASVAB and am looking at a rate of ET / FC .. are there other good guys should consider? Any thoughts on this will be appreciated. Next to the Marina has become very important to me and I have said repeatedly that I have to make my experience as I want . What we are seeing is nothing new . With the economy in disarray Ithe that is , people see the military as a solution to all their problems . Job security , a way forward in a way to improve their civilian careers . , A MedlinePlus paycheck . Youi himself says "Joining the Navy is very important to me . " Why? A sudden feeling of patriotism , a desire to serve their country , or , if you translate it as " no jobs in the civilian sector , and I have to pay my school loans " If the economy was good and had jobs available for holders of advanced degrees in psychology , do you still weanting to join the military? " Come on, be honest. If not me , with yourself .

This is an erroneous assumption that the opportunity to become a naval officer by applying improved Navy OCS from the enlisted ranks or extrapolating current rates of selection two years in the future is entirely accurate . The only official commissioning program enlisted sometimes could improve is the ECP Marines. The Navy and the Air Force does not have a program that allows enlisted with a degree of ordered separately from OCS civilians. Sta-21 is based NROTC graduates and enlisted sailors are not eligible. MedlinePlus "People who have obtained a university degree is not eligible for STA-21 and should be applied directly to the Officer Candidate School (OCS). OCS application procedures can be found in OPNAVINST 1420.1A (Chapter 4)" MedlinePlus https://www.sta-21.navy.mil/eligibility .... MedlinePlus If you want to enlist and serve as an enlisted sailor and then do it, but do not because they believe it will increase the chances of achieving a slot Navy OCS. Fully understand the type of accommodation offered life aboard ship enlisted sailors. Single down ranking enlisted sailors E-4 and with less than four years service are not eligible for the tax exemption of private housing BAH. Also, if the student loan repayment program is accepted, the first active duty obligation does not entitle a seaman enlisted GI Bill educational benefits that can be used for graduate study more. These include 36 months of enrollment in the highest positions in the BA rate to the most expensive public university in the months of tax-free state of 36 E-5 with dependents BAH in high-cost areas may have more of $ 2600/month.

There is a long wait to join SCO . I am also planning to join too. However, your GPA is important . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Depends , what do you want to do in the Navy ? If you want to do engineering then you have no chance. If your GPA is really bad , then maybe consider enlisting or develop some expeirence before OCS to offset a bad GPA . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Edit: MedlinePlus I think your title, you might want to consider OPNAVINST 3434.1 , " Psychological Operations " with the Navy . MedlinePlus Also, do take a look at their expriences . If one has not done anything , then it hurts .
