I know it's relatively easy to switch majors and many people do it, but I'm wondering if nursing's different because it's a separate program.

As of right now I applied to colleges as a psychology major and I'm still flip flopping between majoring in psychology and majoring in nursing, but I applied as a psychology major because nursing programs are more selective and harder to get into.

I'm worried that, if I want to change my major once I'm in school, I won't get into the nursing program at the school I'm already attending. Is it still hard to get into the nursing program once you're already at that school? Will they really deny someone who has decent grades?
