How come a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science are nowhere degrees?0rayan siddiqui2012-10-11 18:11:40
I told a Bachelor of Arts , a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Music degree where if you want to make money . Say you get a degree in psychology , sociology , anthropology , English , etc ... then you really will not make a lot of money . That these are the degrees anywhere. They said they would have to end up getting a Master of Arts and Ph.D. eventually a study in these areas in order to succeed . Why is that? MedlinePlus MedlinePlus They said if you want to make some money goody , then you should get a Bachlor of Business Administration , Bachelor of Engineering , Pre -Law ( eventually going to law school ) or Pre - Med ( the end going to the Faculty of Medicine ) . Why is this?

I am Australian and wonder what is the difference, if any, between college and university in the USA?10RAH RAH2012-10-08 15:31:04
In Australia , the university is the place where a person acquires more practical certification courses like Certificate of hairdressing, hospitality , automotive , electrical , plumbing , gardening , child care , etc. courses covering worker several months to several years. A person may qualify for admission to the university with fewer years of school (grades , eg average and sophomore level ) and fewer signs of what is required for university entrance ( upper grades and graduation high school is essential ) . University is where a degree in psychology degrees , science , education , etc. higher level of nursing and graduate studies as a PhD PhD are achieved. University is the highest academic level in Australia . The university is much less academic .
Why don't Australian Psychologists require a Phd to practice?0mr. doodles2012-11-05 05:58:18
I have noticed to practice psychology in America one has to have a Phd while in Australia all you have to do is a 4 year degree in psychology and complete 2 years of supervised work experience and you can call yourself a psychologist. Why does Australia have a lower standard for psychologists than America does?
Is the Australian institute of applied psychology dodgy?0losted2012-10-07 04:16:16
I just applied through seek learning to do a Bachelor of Applied Social Science ( counseling ) . MedlinePlus Seek learning, said that although it is an online course , is a fully accredited school that offers exactly the same qualification as any other uni in australia . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus However, as I write this in google the name of the course , only the Australian Institute of applied psychology has even this degree .. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus So im wondering if this is a reliable scam to get my money , if you seek learning is also unreliable , and any other information that anyone has or comments about this uni MedlinePlus :) MedlinePlus Thanks in advance :)
Process for become a registered Psychologist in the US (with Australian degree)?1LaNaya2012-10-07 03:16:03
What is the process to become an American social psychologist ? MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I am currently studying psychology at a university in Australia . Once I have my degree in four years degree , I will be forced to do a postgraduate degree or complete two years of experience working with another social psychologist , to become full . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus If I had to move to America once I finished my degree 4 years ( or say , even after a supervised postgraduate work ) , what I have to do to be registered in the U.S. ? MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I have read some articles which state that an examination is necessary and one that indicates a " refresher course " , however I'm not sure that 's true . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus So to sum ‚Äč‚Äčthat up , if I have completed a degree in Psychology in Australia ( well , I'm open to graduate ) , what steps should I take to become a social psychologist in America?
Is it worth getting two bachelor degrees?1Siraj2012-10-20 08:51:13
I just graduated with a degree in psychology at McGill University . I graduated with a GPA of 3.15 and my counselor told me that I would have to do at least a year or two of practice / research in order to be a competitive candidate in college . I had originally planned to hold a degree in psychology grad Experiemental , but not sure if it's even worth it. Psychology is a difficult to find work , especially if you only have a bachelor of arts . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Because of this , I was thinking about going back to college and get a degree in biochemistry or neuroscience , which has always interested me . However, since I have a degree , so if I were to get a degree , how I can do ? MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Any help will be appreciated . Thank you !
