I am a junior in college , majoring in psychology . Now I know it was a stupid choice , and I want to change my major to English or to find a different theme to the major that I will get a job . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I wonder what would be a good job that does not require too much of a detour from where I am right now. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I'm looking for something that can (1) give me a reasonable chance of finding a job , and (2 ) give me enough money to live in a cheap apartment . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Thanks in advance .

You should keep your passion . Of course , you can change to English and choose to become an educator or work as editor. I'd also suggest journalism as it will help you hone your writing ( and get your name out there ) . Actually there is no principal will " get a job " itself . You can find jobs using any degree , if you are persistent enough . Choose something you enjoy because otherwise you will regret later. If you like psychology , a branch pick what you like and stick with it . Everyone needs a pyschologist sometime * wink * . My ex - roommate decided to become a pyschologist who specialized in hoarding and obsessive / compulsive . Your intuition about this and find happiness !
