What kind of career can you do with a psychology degree which doesn't require a masters degree?0short_lil_glam_gurl 2012-11-04 17:58:03
Most careers in psychology , as a counselor , therapist , clinical psychologist , require a master's degree , but I would do something with my career and psychology without making a greater degree and would welcome ideas.

Is getting a Masters Degree in Creative Writing a waste of time?8Highland Middle2017-12-30 09:51:06
I have a degree in psychology , which I found to be useless . And I'm thinking about going back to school and get a master's degree in Creative Writing , because I enjoy writing and would love to learn more techniques to make myself a better writer . I am worried , however, that this measure will not open many doors in the job market (just as my psychology degree has failed to do) . Any idea ? Thank you.

Would I be able to pursue a Masters/Phd in English with a BFA in Creative Writing?0NDW2012-10-14 23:49:03
I'm thinking of writing a double major in psychology and creative . I do not want to limit my options for my future too . I have really wanted to work on my writing skills , however , I find that reading in English tests and reviews a little dry . I also think a BFA in creative writing exclusively could help me apply my time and focus to writing. However, it is probable / possible for me to be accepted into a strong English program if my degree is not specifically " English " ? (If you decide to go this route . )
ARE THERE JOBS IN THE MENTAL HEALTH FIELD THAT DO NOT REQUIRE A PSYCHOLOGY DEGREE?1spaz22482012-10-14 04:49:03
I have 42 years of age. I've been at my current job for 16 years. I just found out I'm being redundant . I've always been intrigued by the human mind and always regret not study psychology in college . I have a degree in Geography . Since I'm being redundant I feel this is a good opportunity to get a job in something I really like . In order to get anywhere, I'm sure you will have a master somewhere down the line , but I want to get my foot in the door somewhere. Are there jobs that do not require a psychology degree ? My plan would be to find a job in the field and work for a master at work . I'm losing my job in October. Any idea ? thanks

I graduated with a psychology degree two years ago and have been working in managing retail since. I'm looking to change careers . I do not know what I'm qualified. I love to work in the field of psychology , but it seems a masters always necessary . I love working with children . Also I have experience working with autistic patients , however I do not know if that's what you want to do more exactly . I also liked being a manager , but they have to leave the company where I am currently . I need a job with decent pay and benefits . HELP ! I need advice !
