How to transfer to a new school and still graduate on time?1anonymos NEEDS HELP!2012-10-19 09:09:03
I have 19 years and more time liberal arts , but they want to major in Psychology . I am currently attending a community college that does not offer psychology as a major . I 'm in my 3rd semester this fall and why has not transferred even after this year because I have to bring my average to something competitive and did well my first semester , but I think I did very well this semester . Last semester my GPA was 2.17 and I withdrew from a class ( took 4 classes ) was not included in my GPA . This semester I took the class again, Psych , Geo , Anthro ( not right , but I can get through ) , and Hum services . These credits can be added to my psychology ? My school does not offer much of psychology programs , as they are not that important , but in the meantime I was exploring possible careers and really like psychology . I also major in Psychology?[View Answers]
I am an A student in community college, but there is this one class I am most likely going to get a D in?3anu2012-10-12 00:45:04
I am a psychology at a community college , and have always had one and I am in the Honors Transfer Program . This was my third semester , and the first time I took four academic classes . Before taking three classes and an art class because I wanted lower in the art. I do not work and have not had much chance to do things in the clubs . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I'm thinking of transferring to UCSD , UCI , or maybe Berkely . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus The class I'm most likely going to fail it , and I thought it would be better , so I did not get a W at the time, Trigonometry , and does not account for credit for the UC system , but is a requirement prior to calculus classes that are required for my major in UCSD and UCI . However, it is required to Berkely or UCLA. MedlinePlus I can retake ? Trig when I have a D ? And if so , how is that going to hurt me when I try to apply to a UC ? Pre -calculus requires a C or better to Trig as a prerequisite . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I would also add that already took Statistics, and have gotten an A in that too.[View Answers]

UCSC or UC Davis for psychology?0Trevina2012-10-04 19:45:40
I've been in school and I'm having trouble deciding. I'm quite serious majoring in psychology, and I hope you'll eventually have a career as some kind of therapist or psychologist. I'm not completely set on that yet, I'm still excited to have other classes and develop new interests. I also like art and history. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I absolutely LOOOVE the UCSC campus, and I love the natural beauty. It seems that their is not much to do well. I also like the Davis, seems very friendly and theirs a lot of things to do. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Im definitely not into drugs, never have been and never will be. I really do not mind people who are, but I would be nice to know that people who feel the same way. I am a pretty cool person. I do not judge people. I'm not big on parties, but that does not mean I do not want to have fun. I definitely want to be challenged in college, but not to the point MedlinePlus I'm kidding. MedlinePlus I could "fit" more people in Davis ... simply because it's what I'm used to. Santa Cruz has that whole hippie stereotype, which is not necessarily a bad thing in my opinion. Im pretty down to earth ... but I'm not very outgoing or vocal about my opinions. MedlinePlus Im tired of all this shit insignificant school gossip. I hate how people will be completely mean someone just because they are a little different. I hate when girls do anything for attention. I do not like how the boys are different in front of their friends. MedlinePlus And my bad, I know that sounds very negative and angry right now. Im not really, especially when you get to know me. I just want to meet people who are friendly, and real, and really care about others ... You know? but it does not. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus yeeah .. that's a lot of general information. MedlinePlus But if anyone can tell me about your experience in any of the schools, especially about what people are and how the psychology program is, that would AWEEESOMEE! MedlinePlus MedlinePlus It's a toughie: ([View Answers]
